Warmest congratulations to our university for outstanding achievements in the 2025 Annual Awards organized by the Guangdong Association of Higher Education's Committee on International and Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs!

With support from CTL, our university submitted 5 applications and received 3 awards.


Our university is the only Sino-foreign cooperative university to receive awards in this selection, demonstrating our distinctive strengths in international education.

These achievements reflect both the solid foundation of our foreign affairs and Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs exchange work, and our unique advantages and innovative vitality as a Sino-foreign  cooperative university.






News Brief | CTL Spark Fund Faculty-Student Co-Creation Program Opening Presentation Successfully Held


On March 13, 2026, the CTL Spark Fund successfully held its first opening presentation session at CC126. Five faculty-student teams presented their innovative teaching projects, marking a key milestone for the initiative.


Launched to foster faculty-student collaboration and teaching innovation, Spark Fund received 29 proposals this cycle, with five projects stood out and received funding for the year. Each project explores creative approaches to education, from AI integration to sustainability and digital cultural heritage.


The session showcased the diverse ideas emerging across campus and signaled the official start of project implementation. CTL will continue supporting these teams and sharing their outcomes with the BNBU community.


Program Overview: The "CTL Spark Fund" Faculty-Student Co-Creation Program aims to build a collaborative platform that integrates research and teaching, transforming innovative explorations into diverse educational practices to enhance teaching quality and learning experience.






News Brief | BNBU Faculty and Students from FBM and FHSS Publish International Casebook on China-Asia Cooperation


A new pedagogical casebook, Cases on China Partnerships in International Development, has been published by US-based academic publisher IGI Global, featuring contributions from Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS).


The project is a 100% BNBU initiative co-edited by Dr. Youssef EL HAOUSSINE (FBM), Dr. Edoardo MONACO (FHSS), Dr. Selçuk COLAKOGLU (FHSS), and Dr. Michal VAVRIK (FHSS). It includes 18 academic case studies written by 18 BNBU students (11 from FHSS, 7 from FBM), each examining China’s cooperation with a different Asian country.


Designed as a student-centered academic project, the year-long collaboration (March 2025–March 2026) provided students with methodological guidance from faculty editors, resulting in each student publishing an academic case study. The volume serves as a teaching resource for comparative analysis worldwide, showcasing BNBU and CTL’s commitment to innovative, international, and transdisciplinary teaching and learning.
