Beyond Boundaries Lecture Series 18 | OBTL & CRA: BNBU’s

Teaching Philosophy and Practice

Abstract: Outcomes-Based Teaching and Learning, or OBTL, has been the pedagogical philosophy of BNBU for more than a decade. It goes together with a particular method of assessment of student academic performance—Criterion-Referenced Assessment, or CRA. The purpose of this talk is to offer this familiarity. The talk will also answer any practical questions about student assessment and the design of courses and course syllabi in line with OBTL & CRA.
