Call for Papers: Innovative Teaching and Learning — Spring 2027 Issue

The editorial team of BNBU’s pedagogical journal Innovative Teaching and Learning (ITL) is now accepting submissions for its Spring 2027 issue. Focused on university pedagogy, the journal invites papers exploring innovation in university teaching and learning. Example paper topics include: novel and creative teaching approaches, innovative ways of fostering student engagement, efficient assessment strategies, constructive feedback, the employment of cutting-edge technology in education, and preparing students for work and life in the twenty-first century. Seeking to expand the scope of pedagogical inguiry, the journal welcomes various paper formats: empirical analyses of pedagogical innovation, theoretical explorations of innovative pedagogies, but also less traditional forms of academic publication, such as reflections on teaching practice and interviews with experts and distinguished educators.

This is a great opportunity to get a paper published in an important area we are all necessarily engaged with, and an effective way to develop ideas for further publications and presentations. The editorial team is asking for near final drafts to be submitted by the 30 September 2026. Manuscripts can be submitted directly to the guest editor, at uchennaeze@bnbu.edu.cn. Dr. EZE is also happy to answer any questions that you may have.

ITL’s editorial team is looking forward to receiving your submissions!
